How our pages are built
- Colour contrastText and background pairs meet WCAG AA contrast ratios. Colour is never the only way information is shown; status labels always carry text.
- StructureOne main heading per page, headings in order, and landmarks for navigation and content.
- Keyboard useLinks, contents menus and expandable answers work with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
- Readable sizesBody text is at least 16 px; the smallest text, such as citation numbers, is at least 11 px.
- Small screensPages are checked at widths from 320 px to 1,440 px without sideways scrolling; wide tables scroll inside their own area.
- TablesData tables use captions and header cells so screen readers can announce them.
Known limitations
This statement covers the content area of our pages. Parts of the site supplied by the theme or plugins, such as the header, menus and footer, haven’t been assessed in the same way. Linked third-party documents, such as laboratory PDFs published by brands, may not be accessible, and we can’t change them. If you need information from one of those documents in another format, email us and we’ll help.
